The Devastation of 'The Little Wrinkle'

There are many observable aspects to consciousness, and one of them is the volitional thinker. You know without doubt that you can think. And that thinking can move in any direction it likes, which is the use of volition or free will. Note: 'the use of' and not volition itself. There is a difference. Experientially knowing the difference creates the emergence of advancing civilizations or its perpetual destruction and reconstruction.

Unimpeded thinking has and is creating the evolution of humankind. By that statement one would think that everything would move along relatively smoothly, but it does not. The potential smoothness can be obstructed by one little wrinkle. The wrinkle, although small, can turn the smoothness into chaos and self-destruction. In relation to the immensity of the potential smoothness the wrinkle is insignificant. But that one little wrinkle can be cunning and vicious, creating the circumstances to destroy the evolutionary smoothness of human evolution.

The wrinkle occurs the moment you believe your own thoughts. Thought in itself is open-ended or unrestricted. The moment you add belief to a thought you have created restriction. And this is where all the problems of individuals and the totality of humankind run into endless forms of conflict. Free unrestricted thought creates a prison for itself by the restriction of belief in its own thought. This does not imply that the thought or belief is right or wrong, just self-contained or restrictive. The restriction creates the wrinkle.

Within the vast expanse of unimpeded evolution one wrinkle ultimately runs into another wrinkle. As they are not of the same wrinkle, an inevitable struggle ensues to see which wrinkle will dominate — to be the one and only wrinkle in the vast smoothness of evolution. Two conflicting wrinkles cannot be in the same space at the same time. If they are 'of the same wrinkle' they blend as one bigger wrinkle.

The volitional thinker creates its own restriction by belief in its own thoughts. This creates a self-imposed border, establishing a prison without you even being aware that those prison walls exist. It is right here, at this little wrinkle, where all the problems, conflict, violence and destruction arise from and relate to. And yet the wrinkle itself appears deceptively innocent, after all its just a little wrinkle.

The volitional thinker, the moment it believes its own thought, loses its volition. It has handed over its power to the wrinkle and wrinkle takes over. The volitional thinker with its thought and its held belief in the thought makes further thought unnecessary. This effectively creates two where once there was one. But even that one — the volitional thinker — rises and falls within consciousness, making it but a transitory illusion, as it comes and goes — the deception. That transitory illusion is supported and maintained by a delusion — the wrinkle. The wrinkle is a delusion because it maintains and supports the continuation of an illusion — the deceit: a belief in your own thought. This is the shadow-world of your existence, molded out of two parts. If you are of the Christian faith change the names of the volitional thinker to the first beast of the Book and Revelations. The second beast becomes the wrinkle. The realignment may alter the way you perceive that Revelation, turning it from a fear based understanding to one of insight and learning.

The volitional thinker creates the thought, but as it arises and falls upon demand it is but a shadow of what you are, a deception. The deceptive-shadow in turn is supported and maintained by the wrinkle, which is deceitful and therefore referred to as the deceit. The new emerging deception and deceit act as one, seen and experienced as who you are. This is reinforced daily as you witness upon the screen of manifestation all your thoughts and actions taking place, which of course is only shadowboxing. Some you win, some you lose but the shadow never disappears. For wherever you look there your shadow is. This constant shadowboxing produces subliminal patterns no longer requiring thought or evaluation processing. These subliminal patterns turn potential malleable belief in one's thought to stone, creating the walls of the prison, blocking all outside light without you even being aware of the imprisonment.

The volitional thinker has passed control to a wrinkle, and wrinkle now controls the volitional thinker. It's a farce and a tragedy. A farce because it is an illusion supported by a delusion. A tragedy as this deception and deceit cause all the violence and destruction that exist, impeding evolution under the guise of advancing it. It is a shadow ruse that is beguilingly deceptive, as one only sees and experiences the results and never the cause. The cause is the wrinkle. The wrinkle itself is so simple and innocent that it is easily ignored or never seen, which is the deception.

The wrinkle creates the deceptive shadow-world, and its own deceit maintains it. It's a closed system. And that system is endlessly destructive. To confirm those statements simply observe the shadow move upon the face of manifestation. No matter how beneficial the shadow appears, it's still just a shadow. Your reality has been hijacked by an illusion. An illusion can do whatever it wants with impunity, as whatever it does its own deceit will support and confirm its decisions and actions as correct. This, of course, can be in opposition to a correct decision or action of someone else's wrinkle. The two correct decisions, when head to head, are like a rock meeting a hard place. The results of this form of encounter are well known and observable in any situation where there is shadow vs. shadow. Shadowboxing can and does have deadly and destructive consequences.

The deception and deceit are always in a win-win situation, and so can never be defeated. This is the exact point where all the past sages point at, attempting to expose this undefeatable combined illusion-delusion by parables, teaching stories, paradoxes etc. It is done in this manner, as the deception-deceit cannot be defeated, ever. It can only be exposed as the one that causes all the problems, violence and destruction that exists. Then an individual by his or her own volition simply sidesteps its own creation, and it disappears. It really is that simple. But if you only believe the words and not experience them as fact, then the chameleon wrinkle reappears as the one that has caught itself. The same cycle reinitiates, but now in new colors to look different and so once again entraps. It's a vicious cycle of deception and deceit.

The little wrinkle is where it all begins; creating a shadow-world that controls you without you being aware of that subliminal control. The wrinkle is rarely seen, only the shadow is observable, which continually reinforces itself as it can be witnessed. Altering the position of the shadow only changes is hue. The wrinkle remains hidden.

The shadow of your existence is paradoxically your worst enemy and your best friend. Both aspects of the shadow keep it alive, as that is its win-win position. It can never be destroyed only sidestepped or ignored. And the sidestepping, standing aside or ignoring must be done from a totally unrestricted position or the wrinkle simply changes color. Attempted destruction is just reinforcement of itself. In short, if thought is held and referenced as unrestricted, it creates life. If held in restriction, it creates death on multiple levels of existence. The little wrinkle has a lot to account for.
