Conditional and Unconditional Mind

Conditional and Unconditional Mind

The mind is created from all your experiences, learning, thoughts, and sensory input from your first day upon this planet. From that conglomerate, you create or copy patterns of behavior that become your personal patterns-of-living. With the passing of time those patterns become a normal part of daily life and are rarely discussed or dissected as they form your internal security and remain a sacrosanct part of the mind. Those patterns may expand or contract as new information is acquired but rarely are they examined as patterns. They are simply accepted as normal and to some extent are used to define your existence. Although you created or adopted those patterns-of-living, because they are subliminal in nature, they ultimately begin to control you, without you begin aware of that control.

Once established those subliminal patterns become your unseen guides that can be both constructive and destructive. They can be anything from the correct way to mow the lawn to the religion you follow. The common denominator is that all patterns-of-living are formed from mind 'objects'. A mind 'object' is anything you internally hold, similar to anything you can physically hold, but in this circumstance they are internally held and that internal holding is normally not even recognized as being held. They form blocks of memory and those mind 'object' blocks are the foundation for your subliminal patterns.

Normally the content of each mind 'object' is accepted as being true as you formed it, or adopted it, providing internal security, forming the content of your patterns-of-living. In isolation, the content is fine, no matter what that content is. However, when that content comes into conflict with the content of another's held mind 'object', the borders of each mind 'object', providing protection and security for each, clash in what is referred to as borders wars, which can be both individual and international. Those borders wars occur as the content of each mind 'object' forms a boundary around the content, created out of the 'substance' held within the content. Alternatively, each mind 'object' is self-limiting by the content, creating what is referred to as a conditional mind. Meaning, the substance-content of the mind 'object' is conditional upon that content being fulfilled. Example: 'I love that person'. If the love is accepted, you are happy and if not accepted, you are sad. Both happy and sad are fulfillment, with one being positive fulfillment and the other negative fulfillment. It does not matter which it is, as both are conditional upon the internally held mind 'object'.

Normally, all mind 'objects' form the foundations of your self-image as the combined content is taken as who and what you are, with the borders formed by the content, creating 'forces' (happy/sad, adore/hate, superiority/inferiority etc) to protect that 'object'. If a mind 'object' comes under any form of threat, so does your self-image. You react to the perceived threat, by the 'forces' of anger, irritation, annoyance, etcetera, protecting what you have accepted as who and what you are, which is allowing the conditioning of mind to control you, without you being aware of that control. Meaning, you have unknowing abdicated your free will to the border control of a mind 'object' and their protective 'forces', and are now being ruled by a false ruler (mind 'objects' and subliminal patterns) or a pretender king (the border 'forces'). This is the conditioned mind controlling you, with you being unaware of that subliminal control.

This establishes the paradoxical situation where one struggles to maintain their freedom by subjugating their free will to a mind 'object'. Obscured within that paradox is the hidden reality that the mind 'object' is not real. It is just an 'object' you have self-created or accepted and has no reality beyond what you give it. The borders of your mind 'objects' establish your conditioned mind and the 'forces' of that mind 'object' protect it. As said earlier, that conditioning can be both beneficial and destructive. Beneficial, as those mind 'objects' create your patterns-of-living allowing you to survive within a society, and destructive as the border 'forces' they create are the foundation for border wars.

Overcoming this paradox is simply a matter of regaining your free will from the clutches of mind 'object' borders. That one simple act allows you to maintain the content of the mind 'object' but no longer be subject to the borders 'forces' that protect it. With the protection removed, the content stands or falls upon what it is, with nothing to protect or maintain it. With the protection gone, the content is free to expand or contract, making the content unconditional. Meaning, it does not require fulfilling, just expression, which is your free will being released from mind 'object' border control. That one little action may appear too simple to be true, but it is true, and you will never believe the sense of relief, liberation, and freedom that one simple act creates until you do it. It frees or remakes conditionality into unconditional direction, freeing the borders of your mind by freeing your free will from mind 'object' border control, which is giving you greater control over your life as you now knowingly direct it, without you unknowingly being directed by mind 'object' border control.

The simple act of regaining your free will from border control of mind 'objects' frees your life from self-created patterns that have bound you within conditionality. That liberation is joyful and honestly expressed within the little things of life, which prior to your newfound freedom, the conditioned patterns allowed you to ignore or discount. As you will discover, or already know, honesty in little things is what makes honesty in the big things possible by your clarity of vision not being blinded by mind 'object' border 'force' protection.

When you experience the freedom of un-conditionality, you will witness the same things with a new clarity of insight, free of mind 'object' border control. However, conditionality will continually make its presence known. Old established patterns do not just wither and die. They have been your safety and security for a lifetime and those patterns will constantly resurface. You will know when any of your old patterns are inflamed when you become irritable, annoyed, hurt, judgmental, etcetera, as they are border 'forces' reengaging border control of mind 'objects' that form your patterns, allowing conditionality back into your life. However, now that you have experiential knowledge of un-conditionality, you can witness that entrapment as it arises and just ignore the border 'forces' and the old pattern will wither and die on the spot. It frees you to hear and see what is really being said and observed, and not restricted to hearing and seeing in reference to your mind 'objects' and patterns. That new vision also allows you to have a laugh at yourself for such childish entrapment, freeing you to move on to the next challenge, and the next challenge is never far away.

Overcoming the control of mind 'object' border 'forces', which is also overcoming subliminal pattern control, is simply a matter of regaining your free will from those restrictive borders. There are many ways to achieve that but the quickest method is to simply observe how they control you and make a decision not to be seduced by that restriction, allowing non-restriction into your life to combat that limitation. Working through the control of each pattern is a slower method, normally used by accredited practitioners in a variety of fields. These practitioners guide you to witness the damage restrictive patterns are doing in your life, and subliminally support you to self-create or adopt more personally or socially acceptable patterns. However, that is like painting a house, making it appear new but under the coat of paint, the old house remains untouched. Those new patterns, for all the benefit they achieve, will ultimately come under some form of threat and eventually will have to be updated or totally reconstructed. Meaning, they still control you, just in a different manner than before. No matter how good those new patterns are, they are just pattern replacement techniques, leaving you with no real understanding of how those patterns are created and how they control.

Getting into the core of your patterns requires you to understand un-conditionality by knowing how the border 'forces' of mind 'objects' control you, no matter how good the pattern is or appears to be. Then you have an intellectual foundation allowing you to experience un-conditionality in its purest form. When that occurs, you can witness entrapment within conditionality as it is occurring. The witnessing carries with it the means to immediately overcome it, opening an un-restricted vision to deal with whatever problem or issue you are confronted with, revealing a depth of honesty that can even surprise yourself. You simply have to do it. Try it once and that new open-honesty can nearly be described as additive, as it makes you feel-good about yourself and the feel-good sensation is attached to nothing but itself or it is self-arising, and not created by a mind 'object' being fulfilled but is freely arising through your new directional un-conditionality. Meaning, the foundation of your existence is inherently free and 'joyful'. You simply have to learn to 'stand-aside' from what you have self-created for your protection and the joy of existence is naturally released. That experience either is or is not. There is no in-between.
